These jars are typically easy to clean. After the candle has completely burned, you can wipe the inside of the jar and reuse it with another refillable candle insert or repurpose it for other uses, such as jewellery storage.  

Each jar is individually hand-poured.  Due to the handcrafted nature of our stoneware, air bubbles or uneven color may be present.

🔥Wood Wick or Cotton Wick – A sustainable, Eco-friendly wood wick that creates a comforting crackling sound as it burns, enhancing the cosy atmosphere.  Cotton wicks are known for their clean burning, minimal smoke, and consistent flame, making them ideal for spiritual rituals and decorative lighting.

For the first burn of your candle, it's important to follow a few simple steps to ensure you get the most out of its burn time and fragrance:

1. Allow the wax to melt across the entire surface – On the first burn, let the candle burn long enough for the wax to pool all the way to the edges of the container. This prevents tunnelling and ensures an even burn for future uses. Ideally, this should take around 2-4 hours.
2. Trim the wick – Before lighting the candle each time, trim the wood wick to about 1/4 inch. This helps prevent excessive smoke and promotes a steady, clean burn.
3. Keep the candle away from drafts – To avoid uneven burning, make sure the candle is placed in a draft-free area.
4. Don’t burn for too long – It's best not to burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent the wax from overheating and to maintain the integrity of the wick.
5. Let the candle cool completely – After each burn, let the candle cool before relighting or moving it to prevent accidents.
6. Embrace the Melt Pool: To ensure an even burn and maximize the lifespan of your candle, allow it to burn until the entire top layer becomes a luxurious melt pool. This practice helps prevent memory rings and ensures an even consumption of the wax, so you can enjoy the full fragrance and long-lasting burn. By embracing the melt pool, you’re enhancing your candle experience while ensuring it burns beautifully every time.
